DC Rainmaker published an in-depth review of Garmin's MARQ Gen3 line on October 13, 2026. The review reports six models priced from $2,500 to $3,100. According to the review, the Gen3 line adds hardware and features the Fenix 9 lacks, including 128GB storage, preloaded worldwide topographic maps, and route-free real-time ClimbPro. Reviewer Ray Maker tested the Diver and Adventurer units across running, cycling, diving, and boating, and found GPS and heart rate accuracy in line with the Fenix 9 series. This is the only report in the current coverage, so no conflicting figures or claims have been reported. The review's framing question is whether the MARQ Gen3 is worth its price.
