Reported on October 6, 2026, Canadian runner Thomas Fafard will race the Chicago Marathon this Sunday (October 11), his second full marathon. He completed his marathon debut last December at The Marathon Project, running 2:10:29 to become the fourth-fastest marathon debutant in Canadian history and break the Quebec provincial record. This week he appeared on The Shakeout Podcast, joining coach Félix-Antoine Lapointe to review his preparation. The event is currently in the pre-race preview stage.
