Hyrox Athlete Founds AXIS, Launches Hybrid Racing Shoe Output
1 sources · 1 reports
On September 30, 2026, according to Canadian Running Magazine, Hyrox athlete Rich Ryan co-founded the new brand AXIS and launched its first running shoe designed specifically for hybrid racing, the Output. The shoe is designed around three key needs: grip on sled push/pull carpets, running performance, and station stability. It has a 34 mm heel stack height and 30 mm forefoot stack height, about 6 mm lower than most super shoes, in exchange for a wider platform and dedicated outsole lugs. AXIS plans to offer full-size try-on shoes at Hyrox Denver from November 12-15, with the first production run expected to be completed in early 2027. The event is still in the product launch and try-on preparation stage, with no further developments disclosed.
