Family and opportunity inspire Lohalith ahead of second Olympic appearance
1500m runner Anjelina Nadai Lohalith has been selected for the Refugee Olympic Team and will compete at her second Olympics. She fled her war-torn village in South Sudan at age nine and reached the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, where her parents have now arrived, and she is about to reunite with family she has not seen for years. She ran 4:47.38 at Rio 2016 and lowered her best to 4:33.54 in 2018.
