Lokonyen: "We can give hope to other refugees"

South Sudanese-born 800m runner Rose Nathike Lokonyen will represent the Refugee Olympic Team in Tokyo. She carried the flag for the first Refugee Olympic Team at Rio 2016, where she ran 2:16.64 in her 800m heat. She lowered her PB to 2:13.39 at the 2019 World Championships in Doha and now trains six days a week, hoping to improve her time in Tokyo.
