Salomon S/Lab Phantasm 3 SC review: fixes the original's upper problem, but stability is still lacking
The Salomon S/Lab Phantasm 3 SC racing shoe weighs 6 oz, with a 39mm heel and 33mm forefoot stack (6mm drop), an OptiFoam Plus midsole, EnergyBlade carbon plate, and Road Contagrip outsole, priced at $250. The reviewer found the simplified upper easier to put on and reliable in rain, but the tongue needs precise adjustment, lockdown is insufficient, and stability is poor on wet or uneven surfaces; best for flat pavement.
